Everybody's been saying that now is the time to travel… and I agree!!!  

Soo…we've got a couple things planned in the coming year and I'm excited. Totally excited, mainly cuz I want a break from work and time to just relax :)

*We renewed our disneyland annual passes. I know, I know, when we went there after our honeymoon, we said we'd get annual passes for just one year! Buuut, we decided to go for it again…we gotta make the most of our the freedom to just pick up and go on a whim :).  Plus...we each get $20 bucks off for registering online :) hehe (yea not much of a discount but better than nothing!)

*We're going to hawaii in june! We were initially planning an anniversary trip for May… but turns out the in-laws were planning a trip in june and invited us along for a Wu family trip.  Sooo it'll be our postponed anniversary trip, but it'll be a ton of fun. This time we're going to the big island… I'm excited to dos ome volcano hiking.  Lately, in my spare time, I've been looking for things to do, places to eat… oh I can't wait! I love hawaii!... I've only been there once, so I probably have no right to really say that… but I love it anyway.

*We're heading to new york during labor day weekend!  It was my surprise bday gift to chris. The main part of the trip is to see historic Yankee stadium before they tear it down.  I'm excited even though it'll be a pretty short trip. I've only been to NY with my mom once…when I was much younger and it was a bus tour of the entire east coast…so we probably only spent a couple days in NY, if that.

Not  much planned for the rest of the year. Veteran's day weekend (dating anniversary… yes chris and I still celebrate our dating anniversary eventhough we're married), I took a couple days off, so hopefully we'll end up going somewhere… maybe some camping... or seattle!! Or more disneyland since we'll have our passes. :) ...not much planned for holidays...cuz by then, I would have used up all my vacation hours… : (

2009…

Sporadic trips to dland of course since we'll have our passes :)... toy story mania...new monorail...whee!

I wanna go camping!  it's supposed to be relatively cheap... after you make the initial gear purchase. 

We still want to take the disney cruise. If we in fact do decide to do that… that may very well be our only big trip of 2009. It'll be pretty expensive…but I suppose really not that expensive when you think about what it all includes. Air fare to florida…land transportation... 4 days of dworld, and accomodations… 3 days on the cruise with all you can eat dining… all cruise entertainment…stopping off at castaway cay… ooo fun!!!   

We'd love to go to Spring training and catch a bunch of games… maybe we can even make it a road trip… vegas, hooverdam, grand canyon… tho that's a lot of driving.  Hehe and really, I'm not a big vegas fans. I don't gamble...and I don't party. I went to vegas with my parents one year before I was old enough to gamble...I had a lot of fun walking thru all the hotels, watching a couple shows…and watching the bellagio fountains… hehe what a tame vegas trip :)

I think my parents wanna go to china or australia at some point... but they say that every year... so i won't believe it until they actually make plans.  

In the meantime... i'm googling tips on how to thaw the top layer of our wedding cake.  Almost time to celebrate the big ONE year ... at jamie and david's wedding.
